Mr. Daniel Flaherty
Mr. Flaherty has been the principal at St. Pius X Parish School since 2006. He is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame, B.A. ’85 and Dominican University , M.A. Ed., ’92. He lives with his wife and four children in Itasca, Illinois, and is an active member of St. Peter the Apostle Parish. He is firmly committed to Catholic education and greatly appreciates the loving and supportive community of teachers, parents and students at St. Pius X Parish School.
Mrs. Toni Miller
Mrs. Miller has taught at St. Pius X Parish School since 2004. She attended the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. She graduated with a B.S. in Elementary Education and earned a master’s degree from Lewis University in 2012. Before teaching at St. Pius, Mrs. Miller was a computer trainer for more than ten years. She is a parishioner of St. Pius and lives in Lombard with her husband, Jim, and their four children, Jack (’03), Bobby (’06), Jimmy (’08) and Mary Kate ('11). Mrs. Miller attended Catholic grade and high school and finds St. Pius to be a very welcoming community.
Mrs. Donna Perlowski
Mrs. Perlowski joined the staff of St. Pius more than fifteen years ago in the school office as the Administrative Assistant. She has served the parish for many years in many varied roles. Mrs. Perlowski has been a member of the Entertainment and Involvement Committee, Parish Council, president of the Parent School Association for four years, volleyball coach and Cub Scout leader. She has two sons, Jeff ('00) and Timothy ('07), both of whom graduated from St. Pius and has many fond memories of the school and the faculty. It has been her pleasure to be a part of the change and growth of St. Pius over the years. Her background in business, computer operations and systems analysis helped prepare her for the diversity and challenges of the school office.
Mrs. Ellen Jaros
Mrs. Jaros and her husband Joe have been parishioners of St. Pius since 1994. Her daughter is an alum of St. Pius ('05) and a graduate of Marquette University with a degree in nursing. Mrs. Jaros served our parish as a member of both the School Board and the Parent & School Association and as a lunch duty monitor prior to her current position as school secretary. Known for the smiling face at our front door and the cheerful voice who answers our phones, she enjoys the versatility of her job as well as being able to work with the parents and children of our school.
Mr. Edward Sullivan
Mr. Sullivan is a 2010 graduate of Glenbard East High School and is currently studying to be a Secondary Education Mathematics major at Elmhurst College. He is a Golden Apple Scholar. His hobbies include basketball officiating, running tournaments, and being a disc jockey on 88.7 FM (Elmhurst College Radio). Mr. Sullivan loves being around the parents, athletes, and coaches at St. Pius. His goal is to make sure our athletes learn about sports, learn life lessons, but most importantly, have fun. He is extremely excited about the growth our Athletic Program will have in the coming years.
Hot Lunch Coordinator
Mrs. Sandy Vosicky
Mrs. Vosicky has worked at St. Pius since 2005, serving for two years as kindergarten lunch and recess monitor before becoming the Hot Lunch Coordinator for our school. She has three children, Frankie ('10) and Anthony ('11), both of whom graduated from St. Pius, and Michael who is a current student. The Vosicky name has been associated with St. Pius for more than 50 years.
Mrs. Patricia Larsen
Mrs. Larsen and her family moved to Illinois from Minnesota in 2003. Her older son Andrew graduated from St. Pius ('05) and is now attending college at the University of Minnesota. Her younger son, Alec, is also a St. Pius graduate ('09) and is attending high school at Glenbard West High School. She has a degree in Elementary Education from the University of Minnesota and has worked in both child care centers and elementary schools. Mrs. Larsen is working as a Resource Teacher at St. Pius and enjoys providing extra help to students who need additional academic assistance.
Mrs. Sheila Chantos
Mrs. Chantos has taught in the Joliet Diocese for the past 20 years. She has been a classroom teacher at various grade levels. She graduated from Elmhurst College receiving her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. She recently attended Lewis University and completed an endorsement program as a Learning Behavior Specialist. She lives in Villa Park with her husband, Pat, and daughter Grace ('13). She also has two adult children. Mrs. Chantos looks forward to being part of the St. Pius Staff and School Community!
Mrs. Sallie McGinn
Mrs. McGinn has been a parishioner at St. Pius X Parish since 1996 and an employee since 1999. Her three children attended school at St. Pius. Mrs. McGinn handles all of the maintenance for the school and the parish, and she also keeps the children safe and happy at morning drop-off, on the playground and in the lunchroom.
