Adult Choir
Supports and enhances the Assembly’s sung acclamations at selected liturgies.

Adult Faith Formation

Provides adults the opportunity to grow in their faith through faith formation programs and activities designed for adults, as well as through inter-generational formation programs that connect children, teens, and adults of all ages within the parish.

Altar Servers
Assist the clergy and other ministers at liturgical functions.

Art and Environment
Enhances the interior and exterior of the church building to reflect the spirit of the liturgical seasons of the church year.

Bereavement Ministers
Help families prepare the Funeral Mass, attend the wake and funeral service, and attend the quarterly Mass of Remembrance.

Boy Scouts
Prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.

Cantors

Christian Administration Commission
Sees to the stewardship of parish resources.  Plans, provides for and supervises the financial affairs and physical properties of the parish.

Reaches out to women and their families in special times of motherhood and affirms, supports, encourages and assists women during their childbearing years.

Environmental Awareness Committee
Dedicated to making St. Pius X environmentally friendly and parishioners aware of ways to protect God’s greatest gift-the Earth.  Ongoing projects include collection and recycling of drugs, cell phone and batteries.

Finance Council
Finance Council members are appointed by the Pastor and are responsible for matters pertaining to finances including the annual budget, the development of financial resources and for long range planning needed to implement the parish pastoral plan.

Lectors
Bring the Real Presence of God to the Assembly through the proclamation of the Word at Mass.

Liturgy of the Word for Children
Provide the younger children of the parish who attend Sunday Mass with their families the opportunity to hear and respond to the Liturgy of the Word for that Mass, as a group, at their age level.

Prepares seasons of the liturgical year with regard to chosen prayer, rituals, etc.

Marketing & Communications Committee

Marriage Preparation

Mary Immaculate Queen of the Universe
Prays and works together for the salvation of souls, encourages parishioners to have their homes blessed, and extend the Shrine’s enthronement to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Mary Immaculate Queen.

Mission Experience

Parent School Association

Parish Pastoral Council
The council is the coordinating and unifying structure of the parish community.  Their major role  is to set annual goals and develop a strategic plan for the parish which are consistent with diocesan goals.  All actions of the council must be ratified by the Pastor.

Ushers

Vocations Commiteee
The Vocations Committee advocates for new vocations to the priesthood and religious life through prayer, by promoting vocation events and by serving as a link between the parish and the diocese.
